Daydreaming
Chasing the midnight silence
By the glow of the distressed stars
The motion of my somber dreams
And the breeze of your nearness
I graze the spirit of your pitted silhouette
Wondering
Which blink of your excavated eye,
Will I
Expire into the gravity of your longing?
I do not breathe the air hoping for breath
Nor
Circulate my thoughts hoping for certainty
Within the grasp of our honey suckle vine
Dry bleeding the fruits bruised
Raping the moments intended
And abusing the conception of love
Daydreaming
…simply daydreaming

The Promise
Your promise was
"No promises"
And
My expectation
To expect nothing from it all
Falling into a black hole
No promises has sought me
Finding
The air is deep, you speak
And
I suffocate
In the swallowing
Truly in sadness
Running sideways, dazed
Paths be in blueness
And blackness clarifies
That happiness is colorful
Like the purples you promised me
Caution elopes the breeze
And
The quick step has suffered
And deceased
We meet
Far beyond
Arriving at no promise
Expecting to be loved
