Unforgotten

We forgot about love…

And simmered between the currents lust offered

The moments in between that battle of falling,

Deeply, momentarily became a faint whisper.

How often does autumn remind us to forget stillness?

And how often does the sun remember the lonely shade?

The freedom of becoming nothing more than what is

What was the end is beginning to forget love

Stirring the souls before the outcome of promises

We never mentioned that hands grasped in togetherness

Completely crumbles inside the ache of longing

We forget about love to just be…he, me …we

Passionately succumbing to the notion of fearlessly forgetting

Because love wants to take the freedom

And run

Stealing heart beats and freeing tear drops

When love is to be remembered and not forgotten

With us
